Installing on Windows 2008 Server R2 x64

Installing on Windows 2008 Server R2 x64

Using the latest build 3.3.2.6211 fails with the following message: "NCover v3.3.2.6211 requires the .NET framework 3.5 or higher"

The server has the Application Server role which installs .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. Do I need to install anything else?

RE: Installing on Windows 2008 Server R2 x64

There is currently an issue with the installer on Server Core installations in which it doesn't recognize the version of .NET 3.5 installed. We're working on a fix for the next release, but in the meantime, copying the contents of the "C:\Program Files\NCover\" directory to the Server Core machine will work, although you'll also have to register NCover on the machine and run regsvr32 on NCover.Lib.x86 or NCover.Lib.x64.

If you submit a support case (ncover.com/support) I can give you some more detailed pre-release documentation.
